Kratie Pomelo is one among the best pomelo in Cambodia. Because of
its price is so high that some people called it ‘Millionair pomelo’. The
price of one pomelo fruit can go up to $3 each. The photo below are
from pomelo field in Prêk Chik, a village opposite to Kratie town
center, west of the Mekong river.
Pomelo (Citrus maxima or Citrus grandis), ក្រូចថ្លុង in Khmer, is
native tree to Southeast Asia, often eaten raw, rich of vitamine C and
Potassium.
